Is the polygraph (lie detector) permitted in Germany?+
The polygraph is permitted as a voluntary examination. With the explicit consent of the tested person it is fully legal. It is not used as the sole evidence in court, but it is widely applied in HR and internal investigations.
Is the 98% accuracy true?+
The accuracy of modern methods (EyeDetect, VerifEye) is confirmed by scientific studies. We reach a conclusion based on the totality of several tests and their analysis.
Is everything confidential?+
Completely. An NDA is signed before we start. Recordings and reports are stored in Hamburg and handed over exclusively to the client.
Can the polygraph cause any harm to health?+
The polygraph poses no health risk whatsoever. The equipment is designed in compliance with all safety standards and has no effect on the body.
How long does a polygraph examination take?+
On average the examination lasts between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This includes the pre-test interview, the test itself and the discussion of interim results.
What phases does the procedure consist of?+
